'Songs for the Mountain' concert at the Waihi Beach Pub on Saturday the 21st of February at 7.30 p.m. Raising funds for www.protectkarangahake.org.nz, to help protect Karangahake from mining. A “must see and do” every Friday afternoon in Katikati from 4pm – 6pm. This is where I get my vegetables for the week and it’s a social outing for me too mixing with the locals and my friends. There are eggs, honey, flowers, meats, chocolates, pizza, Indian delicacies, fruit, seedlings, plants, and even fresh pet food, plus more! Permaculture skills sprout in Bay gardens

The popularity of permaculture is growing in the Bay – thanks to a voluntary group spreading its roots region-wide.
